I see a lot of cards these days with tags on them.....and I do think its a great idea...and it looks good too...
Earlier I used to add as much as possible on to one card..thinking it would make it look prettier...only it turned out too busy for the eye to focus on anything....slowly I'm learning to tone things down and maintain a focus point in my cards...
It is a learning process for me...sometimes I get things right and sometimes I learn what not to do...
Here I've used a simple kraft cardstock for the card base and added a tag on which I used watercolours and then added a stamped and coloured in image...also added a few transparent sequins..
