Bright Flowers

When I started this card,I did not have a set idea or direction for it...so I was pleasantly surprised with the result...I wish this would happen more often...!! :)

I started with the flowers and leaves this time..I stamped them on watercolor cardstock using watermark ink and then heat embossed them using copper embossing powder...I kept the colouring in fairly simple and used Derwent Intense Pencils and a water brush to colour in...once dry,I cut them out and started to prepare the rest of the card...

I chose a textured blue cardstock for the card base and a white top layer...on  this top layer I used Altenew sketched lines stencil and lightly sponged in broken china Distress Oxide ink....I also splattered some black watercolour for effect.. and once dry,I adhered the top layer to the card base...

I then adhered the flowers and the leaves to the top layer, using foam squares to elevate just a couple of the flowers...I added a white Nuvo drop at the center of each of the flowers..

I stamped the sentiment using blue dye ink and layered it with a brown glitter cardstock before adding it to the card front...and to embellish my card I have used Orange Marmalade Nuvo Jewel Drops...
