October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and there are a lot of organisations who work really hard so that more and more women are aware of and are saved from this deadly disease...eight women in Australia die everyday due to it...Here in Australia
The National Breast Cancer Foundation funds research for prevention and cure...we also have the
McGrath Foundation...so even if you are unable to donate or fundraise for these charities,do visit their websites as you can get a lot of information from them...
The theme for the current challenge over at
Time Out Challenges is also Breast Cancer Awareness and this time I have made quite a simple card for it...
I chose a textured pink cardstock for the top layer of my card and adhered it to my plain white card base...I then cut a white panel slightly smaller than the pink panel and stamped the sentiment on it using some picked raspberry Distress Oxide ink...I clear heat embossed it before adhering this panel to the card front...
On a separate piece of white cardstock,I stamped the hearts from the Heart Confetti stamp set by Clearly Besotted...I used the same ink for this and clear heat embossed these heart images as well....I used the coordinating die to die cut these hearts and adhered them on the card front using some thin adhesive foam squares...
Lastly,I cut a small strip of pink cardstock and shaped it into a ribbon shape before placing it just above the stamped sentiment...
Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look at my card today....Have lovely & blessed day ahead...!!
