Altenew Xmas Trees - 3 cards

I'm sharing three cards today which I have made with my favorite stamp and die set by Altenew for this year's Christmas release...I really like the size of the two trees in this set and once the front panel was ready,I just had to add the tree die cut and my cards were ready...how good is that..??

For my first card I created the background on the front panel using a plaid stencil and black soot Distress ink and splattered some gold paint as well...I added a thin strip of red and gold glitter cardstock on one side and then stamped the sentiment using watermark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder...then using a rectangle cross stitch die to cut out the front panel and adhered it to a plain black card base....

On a separate piece of white cardstock I stamped the large tree using parrot Altenew dye ink and then die cut it with the coordinating die and placed it on the card front using some adhesive foam...I added a die cut gold star at the top of the tree and adhered some gold star sequins to embellish my card..

For my second card I chose a red glitter cardstock front panel and adhered it to a plain white card base....I then stamped the two trees from Altenew Night Before Christmas stamp set on a separate piece of white cardstock using parrot and olive dye ink and the die cut them and placed them onto the card front...

I then die cut snowflakes from white glitter cardstock and adhered it to the card and since the was so much glitter used on this card,I decided not to add any embellishments..

My third card was quite fun to make as I did not use any traditional colours in this card...I first cut the front panel to size from deep blue glitter cardstock and then die cut the snowy background using falling snow die from Avery Elle...I added silver foil paper behind the front layer and adhered this panel to the plain white card base...

On a separate piece of white cardstock,I sponged in some Distress Oxide inks - wilted violet, salty ocean and peacock feather - and then die cut the tree using the larger tree die...I stamped and silver heat embossed the sentiment on the tree and placed it on the card front using some adhesive foam underneath...

I then die cut stars from silver foil cardstock and adhered them to the tree and my card was ready
