Sharing my first shaker card for this year...and this one didn't take too long to make so I am pretty sure I will make quite a few shaker cards this year....I am still (and always will be) in awe of card makers who create the most amazing shaker cards with such ease and finesse..
I first created the background of the front panel of my card using Distress Oxide inks....I have used seedless preserves and picked raspberry shades here...I also splattered quite a bit of water for effect...then using the corbel heart die,I die cut beautiful heart pattern on the front panel...I added a piece of acetate behind this die cut section and started to create the shaker element...
I used foam tape to create the shaker well behind the front panel...I placed a lot of pink and red sequins inside this 'well' and added a panel of gold glitter cardstock as the background of my shaker...I used more foam tape to the back of my panel and adhered it to a plain white card base...
I die cut the word 'you' from white card stock and adhered it on my card front....I then stamped the words 'I love' on a long white banner and adhered it to complete the sentiment...and finally to embellish my card I have used some small die cut hearts from gold glitter cardstock ...
I'm glad you stopped by my blog...Thank you and have a wonderful day ahead...!!
